A1 at Berwick closed after overhead cable fire
The A1 at Berwick is closed in both directions following reports of an overhead cable on fire.
Police were called to the A1 southbound, next to the East Ord roundabout, at 12.15pm after reports of the fire.
Emergency services attended and the road has been closed to traffic to ensure public safety.
