A warm rug and TLC

A warm rug and some TLC is all this old guy needs.

Bramble came into SHAK, this year’s Jam Jar Army beneficiary, last week and it’s obvious from his condition that he hadn’t eaten a good meal in a while.

With no history it’s hard to know his age, but he’s a gentle old soul that deserves better and at the moment it would be great if someone could offer him some respite for a little while to build up his strength.

If you have room in your home (and your heart) for Bramble, even for a few months, email foreverfoster@shak.org.uk

And for anyone who would just like to make a dog’s tail wag, dog walking at SHAK is a great way to get some fresh air and exercise, for both you and the dogs.

We want businesses, organisations, families and individuals to hold collections as we aim to match or surpass the last two Army campaigns.

Get in touch with us – on 01665 602234 or ben.ocon nell@jpress.co.uk – if you want to get involved or have any ideas for fund-raising.

We have some jam jars to collect at the Northumberland Gazette office.

In the coming weeks, we will be getting new stickers with the SHAK logo to decorate jars.

Full jars can be dropped off at the Gazette office on Bondgate Without.
