A large donation to hospice after Mini sale
Judy Kell, of Rothbury, sold her Mini Cooper Works to a local businessman, leading to a £1,000 donation to HospiceCare North Northumberland.
She said: “I bought the Mini in 2002 direct from John Cooper Garages, which created the famous racing marque, but it had been garaged for a couple of years and it was time for someone else to maintain and enjoy it.”
Judy thanked local mechanic Russell Winter for his help prior to sale, as well as A&E Tyres of Rothbury, which agreed to sell separately a full set of alloy wheels and winter tyres, with proceeds donated to HospiceCare.
