30-year-old crisp packet washed up on beach

A 30-year-old Tudor Crisps packed has been found washed up at Budle Bay '“ but with little signs of decay.

The Tudor Crisps packet from 1988, found by a Coast Care North volunteer at Budle Bay.

It was discovered by a Coast Care volunteer and shows how long some litter can remain a part of the environment without decomposing, potentially harming wildlife in the process.
