A 30-year-old Tudor Crisps packed has been found washed up at Budle Bay – but with little signs of decay.

It was discovered by a Coast Care volunteer and shows how long some litter can remain a part of the environment without decomposing, potentially harming wildlife in the process.

The packet of gammon flavour crisps has a best before date of October 1988.
