100 years young!
A special birthday bash was held in Amble on Sunday to celebrate Edna Donaldson turning 100.
The reception took place in the Masonic Hall and family and friends came together to help mark the occasion.
Guests included Amble Mayor Jane Dargue, who said that it was lovely to be part of the celebrations.
Birthday wishes have poured in on social media for Edna, a former teacher.
