Simon Stirling of Direct2Florist said: “After a long winter spent in lockdown, Brits across the UK are looking to get out.

"With international travel restrictions likely to be in place for some time, many are staying close to home and looking for ways to get some sun and nature here in the UK instead. Parks and gardens are going to be bigger than ever this summer as Brits look to make the most of the UK post-lockdown.

“If lockdown has taught us anything, it’s a far greater appreciation for the outdoors. Flowers are a great way to improve your mood, and we hope with this research the British public manage to get themselves out this summer to visit some of the truly amazing gardens and flowers found throughout England, Wales and Scotland.”
