George Scott contacted us after spotting himself on the left of this photo, which was taken in Seahouses in May 1990.
He said: “The lady on the far right is Betty Hume, postmistress at Seahouses for many years, who was the guiding light of the sports and community centre from its inception. She lived to be 97. The lady second from the right is Kate Robson, who was Mayor of Berwick.
“The event may have been the opening of the football changing rooms, sponsored by Ken Britton and the Seafield Caravan Park.”
He could not name the other two, but said they may be major funders of the project.
