The Twice Brewed, situated on one of the most dramatic stretches of Hadrian’s Wall near Bardon Mill, is blessed with a sprawling terrace and garden to the rear of the site.

It will reopen on Monday, April 12 in line with the Government’s further easing of Covid-19 restrictions.

Steve Blair, manager at The Twice Brewed, said: “As soon as the Government roadmap was laid out, we started planning our reopening and we’re really looking forward to hearing people enjoying themselves again – hopefully while sitting in the sunshine.”

But even if the weather isn’t good, customers will be able to enjoy some undercover shelter on offer.

There will be 18 tables (maximum of six people at each) available in bad weather and 26 when the skies are clear.

Steve continued: “Our location and the size of our site means we’re in a great position to really make the most of our extensive outdoor seating so customers can spread out while enjoying the lovely views of the Northumbrian countryside.”

As was the case before the lockdown and in line with the guidance, it will be table service only.

Steve added: “The bookings are already really busy, so we are strongly recommending that guests make sure they have a table reserved before they set off.

“All the staff can’t wait to start welcoming guests back to The Twice Brewed and we’re also delighted that Fire and Dough will also be back to serve up their incredible pizzas from the outdoor kitchen.”
