A feast of fiddles is coming to a north Northumberland village later this month.
On Saturday, March 23, the Jubilee Hall, at Newton on the Moor, will be the setting for Fiddle Fest.
Resident group, Fiddlezonely, will host an evening of traditional music from the Shetland Isles, swing music from 1930s Paris, fiddle music from Willy Taylor and more.
Guests on the night will be The Hot Club of Berwick and members of Alnwick Pipers’ Society, including mouth organ virtuoso Jimmy Little.
Tickets are £5, with light supper provided, but bring your own drink. Doors open at 7pm for 7.30pm start.
The event is in aid of the village hall fund. To book a table in advance, call Susan on 01665 575232, or pay on the door.
