Seahouses sisters pen special poem for VE Day

The siblings, aged 11 and six, were set the challenge by Seahouses Primary School as part of their lockdown work.

Mum Rebecca said: “They made a poem about the life of an evacuee getting news of VE Day. I am very proud of the poem they came up with.”

The family are planning to mark the occasion with a stay at home street party.
