A lovely restaurant on the coast in Seahouses, Pinnacles Restaurant is another highly rated spot on Tripadvisor for fish and chips in Northumberland. Diners praised the light golden batter and friendly staff.
Elsewhere in Seahouses, Lewis’s Fish Restaurant is popular also popular with diners. Guests were particularly pleased with the quality of the fish and the wide array of options - including catering to gluten free diners.
Heading a little further inland, Carlo's in Alnwick is the fourth most popular spot for fish and chips in Northumberland. It has a casual dining atmosphere but diners were impressed by the portion sizes and delicious chips.
The Old Boat House in Amble is best for a more upscale seafood dining experience, but the fish and chips remain popular here. Alongside the food, diners also loved the view onto the sea from their tables.
The Joiners Arms is another popular spot for fish and chips in Alnwick. It's a gastro-pub style dining experience, and diners enjoyed both the food and the service in this friendly spot.
At Neptune Fish Restaurant in Seahouses, fish and chips are served in the traditional manner with bread and butter, and diners on Tripadvisor praised the crispy batter on the fish as well as the quick service.

Over in Belford, The John Dory Fish and Chip Shop is one of the top restaurants for fish and chips in Northumberland as well as the top restaurant overall for the town. Guests were particularly pleased with the value for money.
