The residents of Grovewood House care home in South Charlton have opened their doors to some unusual visitors.

For each week at the residential home, they enjoy a visit from Jane and her pets.

The initiative is part of the Pets As Therapy (PAT) scheme, which sees volunteers and their dogs call into nursing homes, hospitals, hospices, schools and day centres to offer companionship.

Dogs Paddy and Chi are happy to call into Grovewood House every week.
