and live on Freeview channel 276
Rebecca Corbett, from Shilbottle, hopes it will spread some seasonal joy to children around the North East – and provide a welcome income stream in what has been such a difficult year for performers.
The 32-year-old, originally from Holywell, near Whitley Bay, has been overwhelmed with booking enquiries since announcing her service online as mums and dads all over the region look for different ways to entertain their children during the pandemic.

“The idea came to me in a dream. I woke up with it and immediately went to work on building a website for it and ordering my elf costume.
“And once I had my routine down, Rebecca The Singing Elf Telegram was born!
“The public response has been incredible. I think because of the year we have all had this has offered a bit of light in what has been a dark time for many.”

"My service is completely socially distanced and Covid-secure,” said Rebecca.
“This is a way to bring a little bit of magic to the children of the North East this Christmas.”
Rebecca first appeared on stage at the age of 10 playing the title role in Annie.
