Festive quiz trails at Northumberlandia have been organised by the Northumberland Wildlife Trust.

Visitors to the Blagdon Lane reserve can have a go at the self-guided trail from Saturday, December 5 until Sunday, January 3 between 10am and 3pm (£2 charge).

All that is needed is a mobile phone to download the PDF of the trail, a Santa hat, reindeer ears, elf outfit or Christmas jumper before heading off on the trail through the woodland finding answers to questions hidden in logs of wood along the way.

The visitor centre café will be open 10am to 4pm.

In addition, the wildlife charity has launched a colouring competition. It is free to download from the Northumberlandia Facebook page.

The best entry wins a hot chocolate and pudding cookie for up to five members of the winner’s family and the chance to see their winning entry featuring in the 2022 Northumberlandia calendar.
