The top picture of these two was given to us by Alnwick historian Adrian Ions. It shows Kevin Temple and his team breaking the world championship for bricklaying in 1976. If you have any more information about it we would love to hear from you.

The bottom picture of Alnwick Scouts was published two weeks ago. Reader Fred Calvert said it was taken outside what was then St Paul’s Church Hall, at the junction with Green Batt, in around 1975. The 2nd Alnwick Scouts were sponsored by St Paul’s Church. The boy on the bike at the front is his son Peter Calvert, then about 13, now 55.
