Forthcoming County events include a walk around Longhoughton and Boulmer, and a visit to Northumberlandia at Cramlington.

Our April lunch will be at the Cook and Barker at Newton on the Moor, and several of our members will be attending the Group Meeting at Seahouses later in the month.

Unfortunately our speaker for the afternoon was unable to come due to ill health. However, one of our members, Linda Kirby, very kindly came to our rescue.

Linda travels to New Zealand most winters to visit her daughter and family. At very short notice, not only did she give a brief history of the country, she showed some fantastic photographs of her travels. She finished off with a delightful video of her doing a skydive.

Before the meeting was over, we all enjoyed a good chat over a very welcome tea.

Our next meeting will be on May 9. As this is our Annual Meeting it is very important that as many members as possible attend.
