A cathedral treasure trove for book group

Recently, members of the Wooler U3A Reading for Pleasure Group visited the Refectory Library at Durham Cathedral (not normally open to the public)to examine rare texts relevant to a recently studied book.

Behind the Pages is a programme for book groups of discussions and visits to the cathedral, linked to the Open Treasure exhibition.

Some U3A members joined a tour of the cathedral whilst others visited the city of Durham.
