The show committee has taken the decision to cancel the sheep show this year.
"This has not been take lightly but due to the increasing risk of the Bluetongue Virus, it is what’s best for everyone, especially the sheep,” the committee posted on social media.
“However, we will have a small number of sheep from a farm within the valley which will give members of the public a chance to test out their sheep judging skills! Come along and have a go.”
There is still time to enter your fruit, veg, baking, jams, chutney, flowers, crafts, sticks, artwork and photographs. All entries must be in by 10.15am on the morning of the show ready for the judging to begin.
The show takes place on Saturday, September 12.
