The fully accredited three-day course was managed by Made for Life Organics.

Ocean Club staff Nicola Snaith, Kay Wilson, Kayleigh Baston, Katy Hunter-McNab, Amy Dolan and Jordan Barker passed the course.

The course was developed with advice from trained oncology massage teachers, advisors within the oncology team at the Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust and Macmillan.

Amanda Winwood, managing director of Made for Life Organic, said: “It is shocking that many spas have turned people away whilst they are going through cancer.

“This CMA accredited Cancer Touch Therapy training course enables spas, managers and therapists to confidently open their doors to anyone going through cancer and provide much needed support.”
