Communities rallied to raise over £60,000 in just a few weeks by running fund-raisers, selling hand-made crafts and making direct donations.
Julie Frost, marketing and communications officer, said: “We have all been blown away by the tremendous support the hospice received from people in our communities and we feel very lucky to have that support.
"Without our communities raising funds we simply would not exist. If you are able to help in some way, or would like to sign up to one of our virtual fundraising events please visit www.hospicecare-nn.org.uk
"In the meantime, here are just some of the people who have gone that extra mile in support of HospiceCare – we thank you all.”
