Work is fast being carried out to turn an industrial unit into a Nightingale Hospital for the North East of England.

The 460-bed hospital, sited near Washington's Nissan plant, will take coronavirus patients if units in the region cannot cope with demand.

A time-lapse video shows progress at the unit, which is destined after the crisis to become part of the new International Automotive Manufacturing Park (IAMP).
