These are the areas in Northumberland with the highest and lowest numbers of coronavirus deaths

Data from the Office for National Statistic shows there were 251 Covid-19 deaths across the county between March 1 and May 31.

The data is broken down into local areas of Northumberland which show the highest number of coronavirus-related deaths occurred in the south east of the county.

The most were in Cramlington Town & Beaconhill where 30 of the 69 deaths (43%) were put down to Covid-19.

The second highest was Blyth Cowpen where 20 of 51 deaths (39%) were attributed to it, followed by Blyth Town with 18 of 54 deaths (33%).

The highest percentage of Covid-19 deaths was in Guide Post and Stakeford where 17 of 37 deaths (46%) were put down to the virus.

Amble, Shilbottle and Swarland recorded 16 Covid-19 deaths out of 49 deaths from all causes (33%).

At the other end of the scale, there were no Covid-19 deaths in Haydon Bridge and Allendale or Ashington South.

There were three Covid-19 deaths in Alnwick.
