Covid-19 rates have been falling in Northumberland but a number of areas still have infection rates above the UK average.

Data from Public Health England, published by Northumberland County Council, reveals the infection rate was 169.2 per 100,000 for the seven day period up to January 31.

The UK infection rate currently stands at 273.3 positive cases per 100,000. The England rate is 294.2.
