The 17 Covid hotspots in Northumberland as infection rates continue to rise

Latest figures continue to show a steady rise in coronavirus levels across Northumberland.

Data from Public Health England, published by Northumberland County Council, reveals the county-wide infection rate was 280.7 per 100,000 on November 16.

This compares with 259.5 positive cases per 100,000 on November 9, 190.8 on November 2, 180.5 on October 25 and 159.6 on October 21.

There were 899 confirmed positive cases in the seven days up to November 16 compared with 831 in the week up to November 9, 611 in the week up to November 2, 578 in the week up to October 25 and 511 for the week up to October 21.
