Data from Public Health England, published by Northumberland County Council, reveals the county-wide infection rate was 259.5 on November 9.
This compares with 190.8 positive cases per 100,000 on November 2, 180.5 positive cases per 100,000 on October 25 and 159.6 positive cases per 100,000 on October 21.
There were 831 confirmed positive cases in the seven days up to November 9 compared with 611 in the week up to November 2, 578 in the week up to October 25 and 511 for the week up to October 21.
