Data from Public Health England published by Northumberland County Council reveals there were 549 positive Covid-19 cases in the seven days up to October 5.
The county-wide infection rate stands at 171.4 per 100,000.
This compares to 321 positive Covid-19 cases across Northumberland and an infection rate of 100.2 per 100,000 in the week up to September 30.
