Data from Public Health England, published by Northumberland County Council, reveals the county-wide infection rate was 191.7 per 100,000 on December 22.
This compares to 156.4 on December 16.
There were 614 positive cases recorded in Northumberland in the seven days up to December 22.
Northumberland is currently in the Tier 3 ‘very high alert’ level of restrictions.
