Covid rates have fallen steadily in Northumberland over recent days, new figures suggest.

Data from Public Health England published Northumberland County Council reveals there were 164.5 positive cases per 100,000 in the week to January 30.

There were 527 positive cases recorded over the same period.

Previous data showed the Covid-19 rate for Northumberland was 232 per 100,000 on January 23 with 743 positive cases in the week to that date.

There were no Covid cases in Ponteland West where the rate is zero.

The rate in Ponteland South with Heddon is 22.9.
The rate in Bedlington West is 44.7 positive cases per 100,000.
There are 47.6 positive cases per 100,000 in Norham and Islandshires.
The rate in Morpeth Kirkhill is 57.1 per 100,000.
The rate is 60.6 in South Tynedale ward.
There were 65.9 positive cases per 100,000 in Bamburgh ward.
The rate is 67.5 in Ashington's Haydon ward.
The rate in Corbridge ward is 68.9.
The rate in Longhorsley ward is 73.6 per 100,000.
