Covid-19 rates in Northumberland have fallen to their lowest level since early September.

Data published by Northumberland County Council reveals the rate was 45.49 positive cases per 100,000 on March 30.

There were 146 positive cases across the county in the week to that date.

While large parts of the county have recorded no recent cases, there are pockets with higher rates.

There were 20 positive cases in Lynemouth ward where the rate is 445.6 per 100,000.

There were eight positive cases in Prudhoe South where the rate is 142.1.
There were seven positive cases in Seaton with Newbiggin West where the rate is 134.7.
There were six positive cases in Newbiggin Central and East where the rate is 132.3.
There were six positive cases in Hartley ward where the rate is 122.7.
