The 13 areas of Northumberland with the highest Covid rates as infections rise
Covid-19 rates in Northumberland have seen a slight rise in recent days.
Latest data from Public Health England, published by Northumberland County Council, reveals there were 44 confirmed positive cases in the county in the week to May 30.
The infection rate is 13.74 positive cases per 100,000 – a rise from the 7.8 per 100,000 recorded a week earlier but still a far cry from the last wave.
Large swathes of the county have not recorded any recent positive cases.
