Praise for efforts of children's residential care homes in Northumberland during pandemic
The council offers a range of residential services for children and young people who cannot live at home, either for long or short periods and has four residential homes offering full time care and support across the county.
With challenges including social distancing to consider and educating the young people about the importance of the lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus, the residential team have been creative in ways to keep the young people active and entertained - including activity sessions with sports development workers from Active Northumberland.
