Over 40s from three Northumberland GP practices called for Covid jabs at Alnwick Cricket Club

Over 40s in parts of Northumberland are being called to book their Covid-19 vaccines.

Patients at Alnwick Medical Group, Gas House Lane in Morpeth and The Rothbury Practice can ask for their first vaccine at Alnwick Cricket Club.

Eligible patients are being asked to email [email protected] with the following details: Name, address, postcode, date of birth and mobile number (this must be included so they can text you an appointment).

Alnwick Medical Group, posting on Facebook, said: “The clinics will be available later this week and next– please get in touch if you fit the criteria above

“No emails will be responded to for queries or from anyone not 40 or over and registered at one of the 3 practices above

“Just as importantly – please email if you do not want the vaccine so we can move quickly onto the next cohorts.”

Latest data shows there were 54 new confirmed positive cases of Covid-19 in the week to April 18.
