Covid-19 rates in Northumberland: Worrying signs for Alnwick and Berwick but better news for Morpeth and Rothbury

Alnwick and Berwick council wards have seen among the highest number of Covid-19 cases in Northumberland over the past week.

However, there is better news for Morpeth and Rothbury.

Data from Public Health England, supplemented by the ONS and published by Northumberland County Council, shows the Covid-19 rate was 254.8 per 100,000 on January 20.

There were 816 positive cases in the week to that date.

Here are the figures for the 23 wards of the Alnwick, Berwick and Castle Morpeth areas.
