54 people test positive for Covid in Northumberland, daily figures confirm
A further 54 people have tested positive for coronavirus in Northumberland, with no more virus-related deaths having been reported in the county.
The Government confirmed on Saturday, June 12, that 12 more people who tested positive for coronavirus (Covid-19) had died, leaving the total number of confirmed reported deaths in the UK to 127,896.
Deaths are recorded as Covid-19 related where a person has died within 28 days of a positive test.
Across the UK on Saturday, June 12, it was announced that 7,738 more people had tested positive for coronavirus, bringing the total since the start of the pandemic to 4,558,494.
