These are the 11 areas in Northumberland with the highest number of Covid-19 cases per 100,000 people recorded in the seven-days leading up to Thursday, October 15, according to official data. The case rate takes into account the number of people living in each area compared to the number of people who have tested positive for the virus. The figures are based on tests carried out in laboratories (pillar one of the Government’s testing programme) and in the wider community (pillar two). Pictures are for illustrative purposes only. The data below shows the case rate for the 11 areas in the seven days up to October 15 and the number of cases confirmed in the same time period.
