VE Day commemorated by children of key workers at Whittingham CE Primary School

A VE Day celebration was held at Whittingham C of E Primary School for children of key workers.

Tuesday, 12th May 2020, 6:00 am

The children came into school wearing red, white and blue and special activities such as making bunting and decorations, making dens and cooking things for a small party over a fire.

Headteacher Belinda Athey thanked the parents who took the time to ensure their children looked the part and to the school staff who are going the extra mile ensuring children are happy and safe.
