Introduced by former headteacher Sally Lamb, the Parent Teacher Association spend the year gathering donations of new or nearly new items that can be used in the Christmas Shop.

An amazing response from the local community requesting items meant that the Christmas shop was bigger and better than ever.

Parents and friends of the school then took the children around the ‘shop’ and for a donation of just 50p for a children’s gift and a donation of £1 for an adult gift (any profit raises funds for the PTA) the children can choose their presents and then are helped to gift wrap and label their presents.

The community also enjoyed a carols and Christingle service led by the pupils and supported by the school orchestra in St Bartholomew’s Church.
