Primary school pupils lead Carols and Christingle service

Pupils at a school in Alnwick recently led a Carols and Christingle service.

The pupils of Whittingham C of E Primary performed the service in St Bartholomew’s Church.

Traditional carols and Christingle songs were sung, alongside new favourites, with a rendition of Band Aid’s Do They Know It’s Christmas?

Pupils from the school orchestra organised a musical extravaganza with violinists playing Jingle Bells.

Clarinet players also played a medley of Christmas tunes and there were soloists playing the keyboard and trumpet too.
