Coun Wayne Daley, cabinet member with responsibility for adult learning, said: “In 2019 our Learning and Skills service helped thousands of people onto adult learning courses, apprenticeships and into work, and this year we want to help even more.

“This prospectus has a strong focus on skills for work, with many of the courses designed to prepare people for the job opportunities within Northumberland.

“Similarly we’ve not forgotten people’s passion for learning for leisure and pleasure so there are new opportunities to get involved in developing your talents.

“I urge people to take a look, to see if there is a course that will help them to improve their future job prospects - or simply to enjoy learning a new skill. Learning is a life-long journey.”
