Ellingham C of E Primary School had its church schools’ inspection (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools) and received an overall judgement of good. It was also judged good in the impact of collective worship and the effectiveness of regligious education.
Headteacher Diane Lakey said: “We are delighted with the outcome which judges us as good in all areas.”
The inspector’s report said: ‘This is a school in which failure never has the last word as pupils persevere and overcome challenges when things are difficult. The school’s Christian vision and associated values impact positively on behaviour, attitudes and relationships and so enable all to flourish.
‘A focus on treating all with dignity and respect is the consequence of the infusion of the Christian vision into all aspects of school life.’
