Businesses support school fund-raiser
Businesses have rallied round to ensure pupils at a village school get those little extras.
The event was organised by Whittingham Primary School’s Parent Teacher Association (PTA).Local businesses – including Pop and Flo, Scentsy, Ruby Tuesday, The Body Shop, Coco and Alice Boutique, Sweeties and Clarty Crafts – paid £10 for a table and donated a raffle prize.
The PTA provided homemade mince pies and mulled wine.
Children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 made shopping bags, artwork and Christmas crafts to sell, which also raised funds for the school.
