Parents and carers are being asked to ensure they to get their applications in before the October 31 deadline.

Cllr Guy Renner-Thompson, cabinet member for children’s services at Northumberland County Council, said: “A good education gives every young person the foundation for achieving to the best of their potential, and for that reason we want to see that every child is given the best possible chance by providing the very best opportunities in education across Northumberland.”
Those looking to apply for reception places can do so from November 1.
