Northumberland young farmer Edward Dungait appointed vice chairman of The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs
Edward Dungait has been elected vice chairman of The National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs.
It is believed to be the first time someone from Northumberland has taken on a national officer role within the organisation.
Edward, 27, an arable farmer from Lough House Farm, near Morpeth, has been a member of Tritlington Young Farmers’ Club for 11 years.

Hide AdThe post follows a successful year as chairman of the Northumberland Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs.
Edward said: “I am really excited to be the new vice chairman. Being a YFC member offers so many opportunities and I am eager to promote these more widely. I have had a lot of success encouraging members at club and county level to get more involved so I would like to continue to do this at a national level too.”
