TEIJA xx - From Finland, Cornwall to Fenwick Newcastle

TEIJA xx is designed by Finnish-born, Cornwall-based designer Teija Eilola and embodies her signature Nordic aesthetic.

It was made possible after Teija won the 2024 Creative Catalyst Award from Innovate UK. The program supports creative talent across the UK, with a focus on nurturing talent outside of the capital.

As part of the initiative, Teija was paired with a mentor in the North East and while in Newcastle, Teija will be paying it forward by speaking to students at Northumbria University’s School of Design, offering some advice on building a career in fashion.

"We are delighted to be hosting a live customisation event at Fenwick, allowing shoppers to have garments personalised with their initials by our talented seamstress- or to try sewing for themselves.” Teija Eilola, Founder and Designer of TEIJA comments.

Teija xx is made to last and crafted from wholly sustainable materials. The collection showcases a range of unisex, sustainably crafted wardrobe staples, from oversized t-shirts and boxy sweatshirts to slouchy trousers and luxe knitwear featuring the exclusive 'Kiss & Wink' TEIJA xx logo.

Join TEIJA xx for an exclusive showcase and pop-up event at Fenwick Newcastle on October 26 from 1-3pm. See the collection in person, meet the designer and enjoy Nordic-inspired tracks by local dance music talent, while customers will be treated to Cornish sparkling wine from Camel Valley. Plus there'll be a chance to bag a unique piece with £10 discount on any t-shirt purchased and personalised during the event.
