The team at Manor Walks Shopping & Leisure in Cramlington successfully managed a significant flood incident that occurred on Friday afternoon due to a failed sprinkler valve.

As the water levels began to rise in the shopping centre, multiple stores had to close with staff promptly initiating emergency protocols.

Customers were quickly evacuated to other parts of the mall that remained open throughout to ensure the safety of everyone.

As a result of these prompt actions, although some areas experienced water accumulation, damage was contained and after an extensive clean-up operation, operations were resumed the next day.
