Team to run new Morpeth store chosen

The Sandersons department store has appointed the management team for its new facility in Morpeth that is due to open later this week.

Tara Harris, from Cramlington, will be the store manager – supported by Lucy Bowden, from Morpeth, as assistant store manager.

They both have many years of retail experience and have worked with top brands including Barbour, Monsoon and Radley.

Tara said: “Lucy and I are thrilled to be a part of the Sandersons team and we can’t wait to welcome our new store to Morpeth.”

They are heading up the 13-strong team who are ready to share their expert knowledge across all departments – ladies and men’s fashion, accessories, beauty, fragrance.

Sandersons is set to open its doors on Thursday at about 10.30am.

The new department store will bring a range of brands to Morpeth including Tommy Hilfiger, Pennyblack, Holland Cooper, Levi’s, Barbour, Barbour International also house a range of exclusive, luxury fragrance from Atkinsons, House of Oud, Chanel, Dior, Parfums de Marley and Robert Piquet.

Managing director of Sandersons, Mark Dransfield, said: “We are delighted to have appointed two fantastic managers to head up our new team in Morpeth, who both have a wealth of retail experience.
