Sustainable fashion proving a hit as Alnwick shop does its bit for the environment

The Renaissance Boutique on Bondgate Without has also proved a hit with shoppers since it opened in the autumn.

Team Renaissance staff Vicky Diggens, Laura Baile and Debbie Armstrong said: “Since opening at the end of September we have had such positive feedback with regards to our ethos.

“We need to look after our planet and by investing and recycling in items that will stand the test of time, you will be helping.”

Its business model is to acquire pre-loved, high end high street and designer clothing and accessories and resell at affordable prices through its shop and online.

People selling through its commission based scheme are also profiting financially and by sharing items for others to enjoy.
