An Alnwick shop is doing its bit to combat concerns about the impact of fast fashion on the environment.

The Renaissance Boutique on Bondgate Without has also proved a hit with shoppers since it opened in the autumn.

Its business model is to acquire pre-loved, high end high street and designer clothing and accessories and resell at affordable prices through its shop and online.

People selling through its commission based scheme are also profiting financially and by sharing items for others to enjoy.
