Post Office returns to Northumberland village

Christon Bank Post Office reopened on Monday afternoon, in the same location at Springfield View, having been closed since October for operational reasons.

The Post Office says it has been working hard in the interim period to restore services to this local community.

The same range of services are available as before.

Gail Burnett, Post Office change manager said: “We are delighted to be able to restore Post Office services to Christon Bank customers.”

She added: “I hope customers will use us the to get their cash, send and collect their mail and do their banking because we know how important these services are to local residents.” The branch is open from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. It is open 9am to 1pm on Thursday and Saturday.
