Hospice charity shop making a difference to the Wooler community

A charity shop in Wooler has been hailed a huge success.

HospiceCare North Northumberland opened on the High Street 18 months ago.

Gemma Douglas, from the Glendale Gateway Trust, said “We are delighted to see the shop go from strength to strength. It is adding a vibrancy to the high street of Wooler during a period of retail uncertainty. It is encouraging to see the benefits to the community of the volunteering network within the shop.”
